Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and client-focused Skin Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will assess clients' skin needs, provide personalized skincare treatments, and educate clients on skincare routines and product usage. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills, a strong background in skincare treatments, and a passion for helping clients achieve healthy, radiant skin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Skin Analysis: Conduct thorough skin assessments to understand client needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
  • Customized Treatments: Develop and deliver personalized skincare treatments such as facials, peels, microdermabrasion, and other relevant therapies.
  • Client Consultation: Engage clients in consultations to discuss their skincare concerns, goals, and product recommendations.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed on skincare products, their ingredients, and their effects on various skin types, and make recommendations.
  • Treatment Protocols: Adhere to treatment protocols and ensure high standards of hygiene and sanitation in all procedures.
  • Client Education: Provide clients with aftercare advice, product knowledge, and skincare tips for maintaining results.
  • Sales and Retailing: Promote skincare products and assist clients in selecting suitable products to support their skin goals.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of client treatments, progress, and any allergies or special needs.
  • Stay Updated: Continuously improve skills and knowledge by keeping up-to-date with the latest skincare trends and advancements.

Qualifications

  • Education: Certification or diploma in skincare therapy, esthetics, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a skincare or spa environment (preferred).
  • Skills: Proficiency in various skincare treatments, strong customer service abilities, and sales acumen.
  • Professionalism: Attention to detail, hygiene practices, and an ability to maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Must hold any necessary state or regional licenses required for skincare services.
