Job Description
● Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
● Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
● Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
● Market knowledge
● Communication and negotiation skills
● Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels
● Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships
● Liaising with business representatives to develop sales and marketing strategies
● Attending events such as exhibitions and conferences
● Preparing presentations and participating in sales meetings
● Take a lead role in developing new business proposals and presentations that create and
nurture opportunities and partnerships
● Identify trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline for short/medium/long term in
accordance with targets
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
● Master’s degree in Agricultural/ business administration, marketing, or any other related
field. One must have experience in agribusiness or agribusiness development
● Proven working experience as a business development manager or a relevant role
● Experience in online marketing and digital sales is a plus
● Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
PREFERRED SKILLS
● A strong sense of creativity aids in the process of thinking of new product ideas and solving
problems creatively.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Experience in BD techniques
● Great problem-solving skills.
● Ability to pay attention to details.
● Ability to multitask efficiently
● Good business sense.
